The Quest

On August 4th 2009,  I’ll be departing for Mongolia to hunt the Mongolian Death Worm. Found deep in the Gobi desert, the Death Worm is the strangest of all the rumored animals to exist on the planet.

According to locals, the 1.5 meter worm is capable of discharging acid at its victims, disabling them before killing them. First investigated by Prefessor Roy Chapman Andrews (the inspiration behind Harrison Ford’s character in Indian Jones) in 1962, stories continue to roll out from Mongolia about this giant killer worm.

Accompanied by cameraman Christie Douglas, I will arrive in Mongolia’s capitol Ulan-bator, and over the next three weeks journey deep into the Gobi in search of the killer creature.

Destination... Noyon province

Aided by a Mongolian guide and translator, we’ll be interviewing Mongolian witnesses, historians and scientists in an effort to locate and capture the worm. At the very least we want to know what this thing is, and where it’s come from.
